* Camp themes are changed each summer so campers are able to enjoy a different experience from year to year.
Singing in the talent show; finishing the obstacle course; stepping into a kayak for the very first time; learning a new dance with friends; hunting One-Eyed Jack (an ageless and mysterious fish) in the Camp pond; floating on your back in the swimming pool on hot July afternoons. Here at Camp Auxilium, your camper will do more!
Your camper will make discoveries every day at Camp Auxilium. One day it might be how to fish and frog. Another day it might be how to climb or tie-dye a t-shirt. But no matter what they do or find or try or explore on any given day, it's what they will learn about themselves at Camp Auxilium that will be the most enduring discovery of all.
We want your campers to act their age here. We want them to put down the iPad or XBOX and run under blue skies. We want them to turn off the TV and inhale the aroma of BBQ smoke and freshly cut grass. We want them to stop sitting on the couch and swim underwater with their friends instead. Campers can be children at Camp Auxilium - and in this hurry-up and grow-up world, that's a very good thing!
Camp Auxilium is many things. It is open and airy, with acres upon acres of nature. It is active, with non-stop games and events. It is safe, with counselors watching every move of every camper. But more than anything, it's fun! Laughter is the most common sound here. The chortling laughter of the comfortable, the snorting laughter of the joyfully surprised and the wailing laughter of the truly lost (to happiness, of course). Girls and boys, younger and older - at Camp Auxilium, there is laughter in every heart.
Our campers come from many different communities and backgrounds, enabling your son or daughter to develop their budding social skills as they meet new children. Learning to collaborate and understanding the mechanics of building personal relationships at Camp Auxilium will come in handy for your camper as he or she makes new friends in school and across various extracurricular activities throughout the year.
