Do you believe we are coming to the end of the year? We can’t believe how much the children have grown! It is also our pack-up week starting May 24th as we get ready to start our out-door program June 1st.

Please read the notes sent home about pack-up week. Here are the themes for our May weeks:

April 28: Letter U & #20 – Don’t forget Grandparents/ Special person in your life day Wednesday April 20th.
May 5th: Letter F & review all numbers
May 12th: Letters X, Y, Z & number review.
May 19th: Review of all our letters and Numbers – Show and tell can be anything!

May 26th: Memorial Day is Monday (No School). Pack up week…no show and tell. The children will have many fun planned activities while we pack up the classroom. Please see Volunteer forms sent separately to help us with the task of packing up the class. We would really appreciate any help you can give! Don’t forget Land of Make Believe is Friday May 30th. Hope you can all come!!!

Notes for our outdoor program starting June 1st:

Always pack sunscreen, towel, girls-bathing suit/Boys- wear their suits, sandals, flip-flop or crocks (no water shoes – very hard for the children to get on and off their feet –especially when wet and they cannot be worn in the pool), also a light weight jacket. Please make sure the children come to school in sneakers – No other footwear as we do a lot of hiking and running outdoors. We will change shoes for the pool. Please put a name on everything!

It has been so much fun teaching the children – We know we will have a blast outdoors!
